Review: According to basically every reasonable law of nature, a bee should wake up in the morning, go do bee activities, and mind its tiny bee business. Barry, unfortunately, has other plans. Our story begins inside a beehive where absolutely everything is yellow, black, sticky, and somehow functioning like a major metropolitan city. Thousands of bees are rushing around preparing for work while Barry is upstairs having the insect equivalent of an existential crisis. “Barry! You’re going to be late!” his mother yells. “I KNOW!” He stares at himself in the mirror. Today is important. Barry has finally finished school. Not high school. Not university. Bee school. Years of education dedicated to learning everything a bee could possibly need to know, which apparently isn’t very much because the entire process went suspiciously fast.
