Review: I picked this dinosaur road-race track set up for my child mostly because they’ve been obsessed with dinosaurs and cars lately, and I’m glad I did because it’s become one of the few toys that she goes back to again and again rather than just once and then forgets; the set comes with so many pieces—flexible snap-together track segments that bend and twist and let us lay out different layouts, small dinosaur figurines and little dino-cars, ramps and slopes and trees and a bridge—that the first day I opened it we spent a good hour together assembling the track (with me helping) and she sat contentedly pressing cars down the slopes and around the loops while the little dinosaur figures “watched”; the flexibility of the track pieces is genuinely nice—being able to form a loop, then a zig-zag, then a figure-eight in our living room meant she kept asking to rebuild it in new shapes, which has kept her engaged for weeks now; the cars roll fairly smoothly, the dinosaurs are chunky and safe
