Review: Have not actually tried these but i guess they are a lot better than the ordinary needles i had which I've thrown away. They are longer and thicker and can put the thread easily. I particularly looked for a heavy duty one to use for hemming pants and jeans since I don't want to pay $12 each time for jeans that is too long for me and I also do my two grown up granddaughters everytime they buy new ones.
