Review: I wanted this to be my go-to skirt so badly because the design is absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, it is just way too much fabric for my height. The Good: Let’s start with the aesthetics, because it really is a beautiful piece. The fabric is lovely—it has a gorgeous, fluid drape and moves beautifully when you walk. The waistband fits perfectly true to size, and the quality of the stitching and material is top-notch. It looks incredibly elegant right out of the box, and the color/pattern is exactly as pictured. The Length Issue: The dealbreaker for me is the length. I knew it was a maxi skirt, but it completely pools on the floor around my feet. Even when I pull the waistband up extra high or try pairing it with my highest heels, it still drags. It's so long that it becomes a tripping hazard for me. If I kept it, I would have to take it straight to a tailor to get several inches chopped off, which would unfortunately ruin the beautiful sweep of the bottom hemline.
