Review: For everyday use (shirts, dresses, etc.), it’s considered non-toxic and skin-safe once it’s finished as fabric. Most people can wear it comfortably without issues. That said, a few practical points: When it’s safe: * The final fabric doesn’t retain harmful chemicals from production (they’re removed during processing) * It’s widely used in clothing, bedding, and even medical textiles Possible downsides: * Sensitive skin: A small number of people may find it slightly irritating, especially if the fabric is low quality or heavily dyed * Sweat + friction: Since it absorbs moisture, it can sometimes feel clingy or less breathable than cotton in very humid weather * Production concerns: The manufacturing process uses chemicals, which can be harmful to workers and the environment—but that’s about how it’s made, not wearing it
